The Brief
Design seating that genuinely serves people living with a herniated disk — a condition that makes most standard chairs not just uncomfortable but actively harmful. The challenge was to design inclusively without making the product feel clinical or othering.
The Work
An inclusive design sprint exploring posture, lumbar support, and the emotional dimension of designing for chronic pain. The goal was a seat that works for the body without announcing its purpose.
